Happy Memorial Day

We would like to thank everyone who served, died and never came home for the freedom we have today. Your sacrifices will always be remembered and appericated.

Freedom is never free, thank a Veteran.

RENT A WRECK

Yes I am still using the rented computer. I am not happy about this at all. I am hoping to get my computer back online next week.

Ok here is the situation. I was getting ready to print my directions and paperwork for a wedding I was going to photograph when my computer went POP! I wasn't too concerned at first, I figured my power supply went bye bye. At this point I am more concerned about photographing the wedding without my papers. Well, I bought a new power supply at the local Staples store (I spent almost 60.00 for something that would have cost me 15.00 online). I came home and switched out the power supply only to have my B-LED lights hang on the CPU error. I have ordered a new CPU but who knows when that will get here. All my updating stuff in is the computer with no CPU (Proccessor). This little gem I am using is costing me a small fortune from Rent a Center. I hope my part gets here before I have to pop for another week on this. So lets hope that my new parts end with the Processor and that my capture card and harddrive were unaffected. I must admit a bigger monitor is in my very direct future :)ok I wanted to check in and let you all know what was up.

Wow it has been a month since I last added anything. The truth be told, I have been so busy that I didn't realize it had been a month. See here is what happened. I recieved a baby animal after it's mother had been ran over by a car and it's siblings died from cold and starvation(no one could find them for a few days). The poor little thing was so weak that it was having trouble swallowing drops of milk. I didn't expect her to make it through the night. To my surprise in the morning she was a little more eager to swallow. Around noon that day she took a bottle and ate on her own, it was just a little bit but I could tell she was getting stronger. I am guessing from when her eyes opened she was about a week old when she came to me. How is she doing now? She will eat about 5 ounces of milk per feeding, she enjoys running around on her little legs and trying to make friends with all my other furry creature. Anyone who knows me can tell you I have a mulitude of furry friends (5 cats and 3 dogs) but I just love the new little one. So now that Porkchop, yes that is her name is well on her way to a long and healthy life my life can resume as normal.

However, it is starting to get warm so I have to do my seasonal lecture. PLEASE PLEASE make sure outdoor pets have plenty of shade and water during the hot days that are on their way and If your pet likes to ride in cars that is fine. Take them for rides but don't leave them locked in the hot car while you shop in the air conditioning. Even if you keep the window open just a bit the tempeture inside a vehicle can get high enough to kill or injure your pet.

9 Things I Hate About Everyone

1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.... I know where my watch is pal, where is yours?

2. People who are willing to get off their butts to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually.

3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too." RIGHT! What good is a cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say "it's always the last place you look." Of course it is. Why would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?

5. When people say while watching a film "did you see that?". No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the floor.

6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?".... Didn't really give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved!'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it.

8. When people say "life is short". What ??? Life is the longest thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?

9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?". If the bus came would I be standing here?

This is so not Growing Pains related but I read it on a message board and laughed and agreed with the whole thing. I did clean it up before I posted it. I am hoping the uploads finish before I have to start dinner.

THE MESSAGE BOARD

The new message board is still on it's way. *reminder* it is connected to my friends site. She had some computer problems and is way behind on her work to open the site. I am going in and helping her now that I have some free time. So hang in there, it's on the way.
